Ross has wrapped up his visit to St. Mary’s City for this summer. This year was full of garden adventures from surfing and sailing to horse riding and fire fighting.  He observed Memorial Day with his patriotic flag raising and celebrated the World Series with his distinctive pitching style.

Ross made a lot of new friends and got reacquainted with former admirers all through the magic of the Internet.  He received many e-mails of encouragement and thanks for which he is truly grateful (except for the one from his brother in Illinois who must be suffering from an inferiority complex).   And, no, he is not going to star in his own “reality” series exploiting a dysfunctional family.  His family is very functional but short on reality.

So he’s off to warmer places for the next six months.  When the daffodils start blooming, Ross will be thumbin’ his way back home.  Maybe he will send in reports of his ramblin’s from around the country in the mean time.  Ross wishes everyone the happiest of holiday seasons and a safe and healthy winter.  Until spring …………
