On Oct. 29, St. Mary’s County BCI detectives arrested Cleveland D. Hall, 27 of Hollywood, and charged him with second-degree assault.
The arrest came as a result of an incident which occurred on Oct. 26 at approximately 11 a.m. in the parking lot of the Patuxent Inn located in California.
Hall, who is a registered sex offender and on court authorized work release from the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, entered a vehicle in the parking area which was occupied by a 3 year old female child and kissed the child on the cheek before being detected by the child’s mother and a witness.
Hall’s work release privileges were revoked and he is currently incarcerated.
