Drug Arrest- On March 10, 2020, Cpl. Knott conducted a traffic stop in the 46400 block of Midway Drive in Lexington Park, after a passenger was observed utilizing a suspected CDS smoking device. Mitchell Jay McKinney, age 30 of Mechanicsville was identified as the passenger, and located in the vehicle was a suspected CDS smoking device containing suspected cocaine residue. McKinney was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia. CASE# 14914-20

Drug Arrest- On March 12, 2020, Dep. Hill responded to the 21600 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, to assist deputies with a wanted individual. Deputies made contact with Kese Eman Lyles, age 38 of Lexington Park. It was discovered Lyles was wanted on outstanding child support warrants. Lyles was arrested and located in Lyles’ coat pocket was a suspected CDS smoking device containing suspected cocaine. Lyles was served the outstanding warrants and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia. CASE# 15453-20

Drug Arrest- On March 12, 2020, Dep. Wilhelmi arrested Tamathea Carol Hayward, age 60 of Great Mills, for Driving While Impaired by Controlled Dangerous Substances. A search of Hayward’s vehicle was conducted and a green leafy substance, (suspected PCP), that appeared to be soaked in liquid was located in a wrapper. Assault- On March 13, 2020, Cpl. White responded to the 21200 block of Hunting Court in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Joseph William Haggard, age 49 of Leonardtown, assaulted the victim by striking the victim on both arms and also striking the victim in the head with his fist and hands. Violate Protective Order- On March 14, 2020, Dep. Gardiner responded to the 26500 block of Loveville Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported violation of protective order. Investigation determined Ashley Nicole Barber, age 31 of Mechanicsville, violated an active court order prohibiting contact with the victim by sending the victim numerous messages, and coming to the victim’s residence. Drug Arrest- On March 14, 2020, Dep. Myers responded to the 23900 block of Mervell Dean Road in Hollywood, to assist deputies on a vehicle stop. Jesse Werner Abell, age 26 of Hollywood, was ultimately arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Located on Abell’s person at the time of arrest was a folded dollar bill containing a white powdery substance (suspected heroin). Abell was also charged with CDS: Possession Not Marijuana. Motor Vehicle Theft/Obstructing- On March 14, 2020, Dep. Katulich responded to the 22100 block of Towey Court in Great Mills, for the reported vehicle theft. Investigation determined La Shonda Iesha Dyson, age 35 of Great Mills, had taken the victim’s car without permission, and refused to advise officers the location of the stolen vehicle. Drug Arrest- On March 15, 2020, Dep. Raley responded to the 25500 block of Pt. Lookout Road in Leonardtown, for the reported CDS violation. Investigation determined Lena Michelle King, age 26 of Leonardtown, removed various items belonging to the business, and when located King was found to have suspected heroin in her possession as well as a medication bottle containing pills (suspected Lyrica). Investigation determined Lucas Tyler Marstaller, age 27 of Lexington Park, attempted to pour a beverage on the victim and tried to punch the victim in the face. Investigation determined Michael Tyree Mitchell, age 37 of Great Mills, reported to the detention center as part of his pretrial release. Located on Mitchell’s person was a plastic bag containing suspected synthetic marijuana (K-2). Violate Peace Order/False Statement- On March 16, 2020, Dep. Raley responded to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for the reported harassment. Investigation determined Shonita Nicole Somerville, age 39 of Lexington Park, called law enforcement to report a false crime at the victim’s residence. While deputies were speaking to the victim, Somerville contacted the victim and drove by the residence, in violation of a current peace order which prohibits Somerville from contacting the victim by any means. Assault- On March 19, 2020, Cpl. Tirpak responded to the 20900 block of Winters Lane in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Scott Patrick Adams, age 46 of Leonardtown, assaulted the victim by pushing the victim down on furniture and shoving food in the victim’s face.
