LEONARDTOWN, Md. – Following Governor Larry Hogan’s June 15 announcement that Maryland will lift all COVID-19 related emergency mandates and restrictions effective July 1, St. Mary’s County Government will also rescind the local State of Emergency.

During their regular business meeting, Tuesday, June 22, the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County signed a resolution ending the Declared State of Emergency in St. Mary’s County as of 12:01 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021. Read the resolution here: Ending the Declared Local State of Emergency.
