In January Linda Gray, of Huntingtown and Bonnie Thompson of Graysonville, contacted the Calvert Investigative Team in reference to their credit card accounts being used to make fraudulent purchases.
The purchases were sent to ParcelEx, in Prince Frederick and Pack N’ Ship in Dunkirk. Through investigation, Pamela Stalnaker was developed as a suspect.
Stalnaker an employee of a local business had access to credit card numbers, addresses and telephone numbers.
She used these to make purchases and then had the purchases sent to local shipping and receiving companies, police say.
Stalnaker, 41, of Huntingtown, was charged with Theft less then $100, Theft less then $500; Use/disclose credit card numbers, and two counts credit card personate less then $500.
