On Sunday, Dec. 13, The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with the local media launched ‘The Twelve Days of Fugitives.’ Although the title of this cooperative effort may sound festive, the crimes committed by these profiled individuals are serious. TDF will continue each day through Christmas Day. This is Day 10 of the effort.
As part of the effort, the SMCSO asked members of the local media feature each of the profiled individual – all wanted for a variety of egregious or violent crimes, including nonpayment of court ordered child support, sex offender offenses, escape and parole/probation violations.
Sheriff Timothy Cameron requests the assistance of the public in locating and capturing these profiled fugitives. Anyone with knowledge of any of the TDF fugitives profiled should call or text tips. Callers may dial the Sheriff’s Office at (301) 475-8008, or Crime Solvers at (301) 475-3333. Those preferring to text should text, ‘TIP239,’ and the tip to ‘CRIMES’ (274637).
“The ultimate goal of this effort is to get these fugitives off the street,” said a SMCSO spokesperson.
