DFC M. Robshaw arrested Miguel Angel Cabrera, 35 of Bowie, when he apprehended him in the woods after Cabrera tried to flee on February 16 at about 10:06 p.m.   Robshaw had received information that Cabrera’s vehicle was weaving all over the roadway on Md. Rt. 4 just prior to Md. Rt. 2 in Sunderland.  Robshaw observed the suspect vehicle at the Sunderland 7-11 convenience store and attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle turned onto Md. Rt. 2, stopping at Sunderland Drive where the driver ran from the vehicle into the woods.  Robshaw apprehended the driver and arrested him.  Employees of the 7-11 store advised that the suspect had entered the store and attempted to steal items.  The suspect later advised Robshaw that the employees had been trying to rob him.  Cabrera was charged with theft less than $100, false statement to a police officer, fleeing and eluding, DUI, driving on a revoked license and numerous other traffic violations.
