On Tuesday, September 06, 2011, at approximately 2:40 pm, there was a report of an auto accident with an unconscious person at Bayside Road and Breezy Point Road.
Chief 1 had command and held North Beach (Co. 1) Rescue Squad and ambulances from North Beach and Huntingtown, as well as the Paramedic Unit.
There were two people that needed to be transported. One was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital by ambulance from North Beach. There was a request for helicopter to transport the other person, but because of weather conditions, the helicopter was not flying. Ambulances from Huntingtown transported the other person to PG Trauma Hospital.
The cause of accident was unknown at this time.
