Owings, MD – On May 2, 2016, Deputy G. Gott conducted a traffic stop on Rt. 2 and Old Solomons Rd., in Owings. The driver, Philip R. Kent, 59, of Huntingtown, was charged with CDS possession-not marijuana (oxycodone) in sufficient quantity to indicate an intent to distribute and CDS paraphernalia (straw). The passenger, Ronald C. Ward, 60, of Churchton, was charged with CDS possession-not marijuana (oxycodone) and CDS paraphernalia (straw).
