Update: 11am

On January 2 at 8:30 a.m., a missing autistic teenager – who had been reported missing to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office on Jan 1 at 10 p.m. from the 11900 block of Acton Lane in Waldorf – was located at Miller’s Farm in the 10400 block of Piscataway Road in Clinton, MD.

The teen was spotted by an off-duty police officer who noticed the teen seemed disoriented. Prince George’s County Police responded and ran a computer check revealing the teen had been reported missing.

 

The teen was safe and unharmed and was re-united with his family.

Update: 9am

Shortly after 9 a.m. a spokeswoman for the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported that missing person Diamonte Godoy was located a short time ago at a farm in southern Prince George’s County. He appears to be safe and unharmed.

Original Story:

On Jan. 1, at approximately 9:55 p.m., the Charles County Sheriff’s Office was contacted regarding a missing person. 

The initial investigation revealed that on Jan. 1, 17-year-old Diamonte Godoy was shopping with family members at the Walmart located on Acton Lane in Waldorf. Godoy left the business without notifying his family. Surveillance video indicates he left at approximately 7:29 p.m.

Godoy is an African American male approximately 5’09” tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds.  His hair is shoulder length and is currently in twists. Godoy was last seen wearing a green wool coat, red sweat shirt, blue jeans and red and blue Vans brand shoes.
