Terry L. Starr is the name of the operator of the Burch Oil truck which was involved in a single vehicle collision on November 30, 2011.
UPDATE 3:03PM:
Medley’s Neck Road was shutdown to traffic. Leonardtown Fire Department and Charles County Emergency Services Hazardous Material Unit are on the scene along with Maryland State Police and Maryland State Highway units. The driver of the vehicle was flown to Med Star by Maryland State Police Trooper 7.
Investigation is continuing further information will be distributed as it becomes available.
Per Maryland State Highway Administration – Medley’s Neck Road in Leonardtown, Maryland is now open.
The driver of the Burch Oil truck is a 58 year old male from Great Mills, Maryland.
Eight mailboxes along Medley’s Neck Road were damaged as a result of the collision.
