The St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Sex Offender Unit, is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Jacob Steven Traas, a Tier II registered sex offender. Trass recently resided in the Hollywood area of St. Mary’s County. On October 31, 2011, during a compliance check it was discovered Traas has moved from the residence and failed to provide a new address to the sex offender registry. A warrant has been issued for the Traas’ arrest.
