Driveway Lights Smashed
At 2 a.m. Jan. 22 at 2 a.m., suspects destroyed driveway lights in the 15000 block of Truman Manor Lane in Waldorf. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer D. Snyder is investigating.
Backhoe Bashed
On Jan 13, TFC Schmidt of the Prince Frederick Barrack responded to a vacant lot off of So. MD Blvd., Dunkirk, for a destruction of property complaint. Investigation revealed that an unknown culprit had caused $400 in damage to a backhoe.
House Pelted with BBs
On Jan. 21, a, a resident of Turnabout Rd., Huntingtown, reported that an unknown culprit had shot windows to his house with a BB gun. Trooper Dawson of the Prince Frederick Barrack is handling the investigation.
Boy Arrested for Destructing Street Sign
On 1-22, 12:27 AM, TFC White of the Prince Frederick Barrack was dispatched to Simpson Farm Rd., Owings, for disorderly subjects.
Upon his arrival, he observed a street sign lying in the intersection of Mt. Harmony Rd. and Simpson Farm Rd. Investigation revealed that a 15-year-old male, of Chesapeake Beach, was responsible, and he was placed under arrest at that time for destruction of property (-$500). After processing, he was released to a parent.
