At 12:07 A.M. on Sunday, October 30, 2011, rescue crews were dispatched for the personal injury accident with entrapment on the 23000 block of Hurry Road in Clements. Crews arrived on scene to find a vehicle on it’s side and up against a tree off the road way with a long trail of debris leading to the vehicles location. Crews immediately went work stabilizing the vehicle, initiating patient care, and extricating the patient. Shortly after the patient was removed from the vehicle, it was determined that the patient needed to be flown to a trauma center for further care. The landing zone was held at Dynard Elementary and the last fire/rescue units were clear of the scene at 1:23 A.M.
