At 3:17 p.m. Jan. 20, TFC L. Nims of the Leonardtown barrack responded to Keel Drive, Lexington Park, for a reported burglary in progress.
Contact was made with the juvenile complainant, and she said she was inside her residence when a known suspect broke into the house through the front door and stole a television.
The victim advised she ran upstairs, locked herself in a bedroom and called 911.
The suspect, Anthony Sherrad Williams, 23, of Waldorf, was located at the Hollywood Burchmart. The stolen television was recovered from the vehicle.
Williams was arrested and charged with Burglary and Theft. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review.
