CCSO detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of robbing a convenience store on Smallwood Drive in Waldorf in November. The suspect entered the business, approached the counter as if he were going to purchase an item and told the clerk he had a weapon. He threatened the employee and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10”, slim build, wearing a 2007 blue Colonial Beach Drag Ways jacket, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is asked to call Det. P. Tona with the CCSO at (301) 932-2222.
