The Southern Maryland Region could get the worst of the Mid-Atlantic’s latest taste of winter weather Wednesday, Jan. 14. As of yet, no delays or cancellations have been announced.

Here’s the current forecast.

Tonight Snow likely, mainly after 2a.m… Cloudy, with a low around 25. Northeast winds around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday – Snow and sleet before noon, then rain, snow, and sleet likely between noon and 3p.m., then a chance of rain and sleet after 3 p.m. High near 33. North winds 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday Night – A slight chance of snow showers after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 26. North winds 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Thursday Partly sunny, with a high near 37. North winds around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the morning.
