At 1:20 p.m. April 10, a 60-year-old Lexington Park woman was sitting in her car in the parking lot of Safeway, located at 10 King Street in Waldorf, eating a sandwich, when a man entered her car through an unlocked door, brandished a sharp object and robbed her of her purse.
The suspect then fled the scene in a green Dodge Caravan north on High Street. The vehicle was operated by a second suspect and displayed a Maryland tag with partial registration “M55.”
The victim sustained a minor injury from the sharp object, which she described as brass knuckles with a sharp edge. Emergency medical services personnel responded and treated her on the scene.

The first suspect is described as a medium-complexioned black male with scruffy hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as a light-complexioned black or Hispanic male with long hair.
