Leonardtown, MD – Are you a young professional who’s passionate about diversifying the St. Mary’s County economy?  Why not consider serving on the Economic Development Commission (EDC)?

The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County are seeking an ex-officio member to serve on the EDC. One of the Commission’s major responsibilities includes approving the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), a plan for diversifying the county’s economy. The commissioners are seeking to include the contributions of a young professional in the community to fill this important role.
