The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred sometime between 10:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. May 25.
The victim, a 14-year-old Bowie boy, was walking in the 2100 block of Crain Highway when two suspects approached him, initiated a conversation, brandished a handgun and stole his money and cell phone. The suspects then fled the scene.
The victim crossed Route 301 and reported the incident to an off-duty Sheriff’s officer working a part-time assignment at a nearby business.
The suspects are described as black males in their early 20s. One of the suspects is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds, has hair styled in long dreadlocks and was wearing a yellow shirt. The other suspect is 6 feet tall, weighs about 175 pounds, is dark complexioned, has hair styled in short dreadlocks and was wearing a white T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
