Samantha Mary Jane Walker, 29, of Aquasco, MD departed this life unexpectedly on Friday, June 7, 2019.
She was born March 18, 1990 in Prince George’s County, Maryland to Ronald Wayne Walker, Sr. and Lisa Ann (Flynt) Walker.
Samantha was a beautiful, vibrant and energetic woman who loved life. She found peace in time spent with her girls and happiness in the sunshine. Her favorite moments were found running around the park and playing princesses with her daughters. They could always be found outdoors and on a warm day soaking up the sun with sand under their feet. When she heard a good song with a fun beat, she would grab whoever was around and dance as if no one was watching. She lived her life with a smile on her face and goodness in her heart.
As the days warmed and the lighting bugs came back to light up the summer sky, she looked forward to crab cookouts surrounded by her family. Samantha would happily run around in shorts, sandals, with full hair and make-up only to hang out with friends. She prided herself on always looking out for others and putting them first. She was the best kind of friend.
Samantha was a strong, caring and loving woman who loved and cherished her daughters. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be missed by many but none as much as her family.
Samantha is survived by her daughters, Alicia and Sierra; parents, Ronnie and Lisa Walker of Aquasco, MD; and four siblings, Ronald Walker, Jr. (Beth) of Mechanicsville, MD, Donald Walker of Mechanicsville, MD, Ann Welch (Mike) of California, MD and Leslie Walker of St. Leonard, MD. She also is survived by three (3) nephews and six (6) nieces, grandparent, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends for Samantha’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service by Reverend Dr. John Warren heard at 11:00 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, at 17400 Aquasco, MD 20613. Interment will follow immediately in the church cemetery.
