William Archie “Buttons” Brady, 79, of Brandywine, MD passed away July 9, 2016 at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Clinton, MD. Born February 16, 1937 in Cheltenham, MD, he was the son of Van William Brady and Ruth Victoria Rawlings Brady. He worked as a truck driver for the Potomac Industrial Truck Company. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, slot machines and spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Predeceased by his parents and siblings James, Ricky and Elizabeth Brady, “Buttons” is survived by his wife of 57 years, Thelma Marie Kidwell Brady; children; Jeffrey G. Brady (Mary), William V. Brady, James T. Brady (Tina), Paul S. Brady (Linda), Sharon Lee Seger (Ronnie) and Tina M. Neely; brothers, Joseph Brady, Johnny Brady (Dana), Bruce Brady(Michelle), David Brady (Brenda), Lewis Brady (Sandy) and Leon Brady (DeeDee) and David Julian; sisters, Mary Hancock, Pat Goldsmith, Darlene Goshorn, Debbie Brady, Doris Northcut and Diane Hooper; grandchildren, Erin, Kelli, Brittani, Kaitlyn, Jeff, Jr., Will, Jamee, Paul, Jr., Ricky, Amanda, Brandon, Dustin, Cody and Austin; and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Cyara, Baylee, Zoe, Kristian and Talon.
The family will receive friends for “Buttons” Life Celebration on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 10:00a.m. to 12:00 noon at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon at Brinsfield-Echols. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD. Pallbearers will be Jeff Brady, Jr., Paul Brady, Jr., Ricky Brady, Leon Brady, Danny Ratanavong and Hunter Sondberg.
