Christine Phillips passed away peacefully on 5, November 2020. A Navy wife for 33 years, “Chris” is survived by Charles “Butch” Phillips, her husband of 53 years, their sons Aaron and Heath, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as her younger sisters; Jayceene, Bernadine, Claudine, and Nanneene.
Chris and Butch married at ages 19 & 21 and set off on an adventurous life, relocating every few years as their Navy career demanded. Loved by all who knew her, she was often called “that Crazy Cat Lady” as she fostered and found forever homes for stray felines at every opportunity.
Family and friends celebrate Christine, and a life well lived.
