Troy Alexander English, (T-roy or “Big Guy”), age 20 of Patuxent River, MD, was called home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on March 10, 2016.

Troy was the first child of three born on 31 January 1996 at Naval Air Station, Lemoore California. His parents are Warren English from Anniston, Alabama and Charlene Young English from Marina, California.

He graduated from Leonardtown High School in 2014, where he played football as a wide-receiver for 3 years. He loved the game of football and was determined to improve his physical abilities and further his education. He completed his freshman year of college in 2015 at the College of Southern Maryland in Leonardtown, Maryland. In 2015, he was accepted as a sophomore to Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. There, he was pursuing a degree in Exercise Science.

His first passion was riding his motorcycle with the wind in his face. His other hobbies included working out at the gym, watching action movies and playing video games. According to his family, he was often heard yelling and screaming at the game. Most of all, Troy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving, caring and thoughtful person whose smile can light up a room. Troy had the ability to make everyone laugh and smile.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Warren and Charlene English; his two sisters, Aliyah and Gabrielle; grandparents, Ollie English Jr. and Willie English, of Anniston, Alabama and the late Louis Young and Juanita Carbonel of Louisiana and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Family will unite with friends on Thursday, March 17, 2016 for visitation at 9:00 am until service at 11:00 am at First Missionary Baptist Church, 46370 Pegg Lane, Lexington Park, MD 20653. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 22020 Chancellors Run Road, Great Mills, MD 20634.
