James Arthur Savoy, Jr., 70, of Waldorf died Nov. 19, 2002. He came from Baden and lived in Waldorf for two years. He was of the Catholic faith and was a laborer for Wilkerson Construction. Born June 3, 1932, in Cheverly, he was the son of the late James Arthur Savoy and the late Mary Eva Savoy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Emanuel Savoy, and sisters, Mary Savoy and Louventa Countee. He is survived by his wife, Iclain B. Savoy of Upper Marlboro; sons, Gary Arthur Savoy of Forestville and James Arthur Savoy, III of La Plata; daughter, Ynette F. Savoy of Forestville; and sister, Mary Louise Savoy of Groom. Services were private. Arrangements were handled by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata.
