85, of Waldorf
Louise Roberts Machado, 85, of Waldorf died May 30, 2004 a Medlink Hospital, Washington, D.C. She was a homemaker and lived here for 18 years. She attended Wyoming Seminary High School in Kingston, PA, Powers Modeling School, New York City, worked as a model and Bridgeport Brass Company, Bridgeport, Pa. She was married Sept. 11, 1943 and moved to Forty Fort, Pa., lived there for 42 years. Born May 30, 1919 in Luzerne, Pa. She was the daugther of the late Joseph Donatone and the late Elsie M. Donatone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Machado, and sister, Harriet Schutts. She is survived by her son, Richard D. Machado, of Luray, Va.; daughter, Cathy Louise Brennan and her husband, John, of Waldorf; grandchildren, Tracey, Richard, Michael, John and Paul; great-grandchild, Madison. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 2 form 5-8 p.m. at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 3 at 12 noon, at Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville, Pa. Memroial contributions may be made to Medlink Hospital, 700 Conn. Ave. N.E. Washington, D.C. 20002. Arrangements are being handled by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata.
