Born on July 22, 1952 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter Patricia McGowan Crawford of Waldorf, MD and the late Leonard Crawford. Mrs. Talley had worked at the Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship in Piney Point, MD.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Raymond J. Talley, Jr., four daughters, Lisa Talley of Piney Point, MD, Eva Morgan of Harlem, GA, Catherine Talley of Norfolk, VA, Jessica Talley of Ft. Gordon, GA, three sons, Raymond Talley, III of College Park, MD, Christopher Anton of Oberland, OH, Edward Henderson of Valley Lee, MD, six grandchildren, a sister, Linda Erickson of Waldorf, MD, and two brothers, John Timothy Crawford of LaPlata, MD and Leonard Crawford of Fairfax, VA. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Michael Crawford and Patrick Crawford.
The family received friends Monday, March 14, 2005 in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 in St. George Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD. The Reverend John Worch, pastor of Our Lady of Mercy in Potomac, MD was the celebrant.
Interment will take place on March 22, 2005 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
