86, of La Plata
Daisy P. Collier, 86, of La Plata died Feb. 9, 2003 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Clinton. She was retired from P.G. County School System. Born April 1, 1916 in Madison County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas and the late May Clark Thomas. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas N. Collier, Sr. She is survived by her sons, Tommy, Jr. and Billy; sisters, Jean Metz and Joann Fethers and Evone Plu; grandchildren, Kim, Lisa, and Johnny. Visitation will be Wednesday Feb. 12 from 6-9 p.m. at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata. Services will be Thursday Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Md. The Rev. R. L. Collier will officiate. Pallbearers will be Allen Wright, Steve Frankinfield, Bill Maddox, Doug Helms, John Collier, and Roger Edmonds. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charles County, P.O.
