GREAT MILLS, Md. — We are receiving reports of a serious motor vehicle accident in the area of Great Mills Road that has sent one person to the hospital.
At approximately 7:25 p.m. on September 26, first responders were called to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in the area of Carefree Way. Initial reports indicated that there were multiple vehicles involved in a crash, one of which was a box truck.
Upon arrival, crews discovered and found two vehicles involved which had struck a pole, leaving one of the operators unconscious.
That one person was transported to a nearby hospital to receive additional treatment for injuries.
SMECO was called to the scene for the incident to assist.
