Trailing 1-0, the York Revolution scored three times in the top of the 5th to avoid a sweep and ended the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs five-game winning streak with a 3-1 victory.

Jorge Martinez (7-8) won for the second time in three starts pitching six innings of one-run baseball on four hits. Daryl Thompson (4-6) was hung with the loss pitching six innings giving up all three runs on seven hits. Mark Hendrickson picked up his fifth save of the season with a scoreless 9th inning.

Jake Opitz gave the Blue Crabs the lead in the bottom of the 1st with an RBI double that plated Jermaine Mitchell.

York rallied with three runs in the top of the 5th to take the lead for good. Travis Garcia tied the game with an RBI single and Chad Tracy followed with a two-run home run, his 16th of the season, to put the Revs in front 3-1.
