The Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a car on fire in Hughesville, Monday just before 2 p.m.
A passerby informed authorities of the 1999 Honda Civic that was set ablaze at Cooke Sweetney Place.
It appears the vehicle was abandoned in a wooded area and was intentionally burned.
