At 9:44 A.M. on June 1, 2011, crews from the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department Co. 5, Seventh District Volunteer Rescue Squad Co. 59, Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad Co. 29, Leaonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad Co. 19, and St. Mary’s County Advance Life Support were alerted for the rescue assignment on the 37000 block of Manor Road in Maddox with reports of one vehicle rolled over. Company 5 responded with Chief 5A, Squad 5 and Engine 54, Company 59 with Ambulance 598 and 599, Company 29 with Ambulance 299, and St. Mary’s ALS with Medic 291 along with the St. Mary’s County Sheriffs Department. Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle on it’s roof and off the road in a field with the patient out of the vehicle. Crews initiated patient care and transported the patient to St. Mary’s Hospital. Crews operated on scene for 17 minutes.
