Leonardtown, MD – The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County are saddened to learn of the passing of Jaelynn Rose Willey. In her memory, the commissioners have ordered the St. Mary’s County flag be immediately lowered to half-staff.
“This is a tragedy for the Willey family, the students and staff at Great Mills High School and the entire St. Mary’s County community,” said Commissioner President Randy Guy. “The commissioners ask everyone to keep Jaelynn’s family in your prayers during this difficult time.”
County flags are to remain lowered until sunset of the day of her internment on a date to be determined.
