Prince Frederick, MD – Calvert Hospice is pleased announce a new educational seminar for September. This seminar is designed to provide helpful information about a wide range of end-of-life topics that affect the community. We encourage participants to come and bring questions!
The seminar is entitled Helping Hands: Calvert Hospice Volunteer Opportunities and will be held on September 25, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Calvert Hospice will provide refreshments. Seminars are free. The location for this educational seminar will be SpringHill Suites (75 Sherry Lane) in Prince Frederick.

Do you have questions about hospice volunteering? Calvert Hospice volunteers help the organization in many ways, from sitting with patients to helping run the Shoppe for Hospice. Come learn about our vibrant program and learn what you can do to become part of it. We will talk about all the ways volunteers serve in the organization, training requirements, why hospice needs volunteers, and upcoming training classes. There will be an opportunity for Q & A, so bring your questions!
