White Plains, MD – Sky Zone Trampoline Park called all kids, teens, adults and parents to their grand opening Friday, Oct. 14 for a new source of entertainment, which has Southern Maryland bouncing off the walls.

Sky Zone Waldorf is a 20,000 square foot indoor trampoline park with many activities to offer guests, such as free-range trampolines, foam pits, jousting, dodge ball and ninja warrior obstacle courses.

“The ninja warrior course is a new innovation that most parks haven’t even seen yet,” said Paul Facchina Jr., franchise owner.

Sky Zone’s diverse activities, like the challenging obstacle courses, allow the park to be enjoyed by a variety of ages. They are also working to create different activities which will be appealing to the entire family.

“This is about good healthy family fun,” Facchina said. “You’ve got families from all walks of life that come in here and have a blast together.”

The park already offers ‘Toddler Time; on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon, which allows children age 5 and under to enjoy the park without the heavy crowds.

Sky Zone Waldorf is also in the process of creating a ladies night, dodge ball leagues and an exercise program called SkyFit.

“SkyFit is an exercise program on trampolines; we’re going to have trainers to handle that particular program,” said Fredrick “Monty” Curry, general manager. “You will get a full body workout.”

The park also tries to ensure the safety of their guests by having court monitors, who are responsible separating everyone by size and enforcing Sky Zone rules.

“Sky Zone has done a fantastic job of understanding and creating rules to prevent injuries,” Facchina said.

Guests can celebrate their birthday at Sky Zone with the birthday party package, which includes one hour of jump time, along with 40 minutes in a private party room for complimentary pizza and soft drinks. Birthday cakes are allowed, however other outside food is not.

For Halloween amusement, Sky Zone is having Halloween on Trampolines from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, where open jump will be for purchase, as well as free trick or treating in the party rooms. They welcome guests to dress in their best costume for a chance to win 30-minute jump passes.

“I want this to be the hub of Southern Maryland community outreach, fun and family,” said Facchina.
