Dunkirk, MD— On October 26, at approximately 4:07 p.m., units from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police were called to the BB&T Bank in Dunkirk for a suspected robbery occurring.
Deputies detained Stanley Darrel McDougald from Fayetteville, NC, Nathaniel Pernell Lewis also from Fayetteville, NC, Kim Doreen Cook-Chase from Baltimore, MD and James Taylor Stewert, III of Baltimore, MD as they were attempting to flee the scene.
The investigation revealed all four participated in an attempt to pass a fraudulent check and were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and charged with Uttering a Bad Check and Theft Scheme $1,000 – $10,000.
