Born on December 15, 1920 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Chester Tobias and Margaret Jane Redgrave Ruby. She was a floor manager for Hecht/May Co.
She was the beloved wife of the late George Warren Hartung, Sr. Loving mother of Linda Bleakley of Prince Frederick, MD, Margaret Andes of Johnson City, TN, Dave Hartung of Annapolis, MD, George Hartung of Gaithersburg, MD, and Joe Kroeger of California. Sister of Betty Ann Krahling, Joan Ruby, Evelyn Stokes, and France Cihak. Eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive her.
