Born on December 25, 1914 in Columbia Falls, ME, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rosa Higgins Morris. She was an office manager at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station and past board member of the Cedar Point Credit Union. Mrs. Henderson loved to fish and travel and had traveled around the world.
She is survived by a son, Robert B. Henderson, Jr, and his wife Marie of Bryan, TX, a granddaughter, Maggie Grafton of Charlotte, N.C., and two sisters, Marg Pollard of Beach Hill Pond, ME and Dorothy Malone of Ashville, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bronson Henderson, Sr., two sisters, Catherine Andrews and Harriett Witney and a brother Winslow Morris.
The family received friends on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD where a Memorial Service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend Christopher D. Owens conducted the service. Inurnment will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
