Brian (Tank) Allen Buckler, 42, of Clinton, MD passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. He was born on May 23, 1978 in LaPlata, MD to his proud parents, Michael Wayne Buckler, Sr. and Joyce Gail Buckler.

Brian worked as a landscaper and heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and watching the seasons change. He also was a talented painter of heavy equipment, such as dump trucks and tractors. He worked for TE Wood Farms until October, 2020 when his health began failing. He was a big man with an enormous heart for family, friends and anyone in need.

The life of the party was the perfect description of Tank. He would be the first to crack a joke and have everyone laughing. His love of doing the โ€˜Curly Shuffleโ€™ was the stuff of legends and the dance floor will feel empty without his presence. If you had the privilege of sharing any of your time in Tankโ€™s presence you know the sheer joy and enthusiasm he brought to any situation. The stories of his antics will live on in our memories.

Tank was a caring and kind man. He will be missed by many, but none as much as his family. His parents are taking solace in knowing he has been reunited with his brother in heaven and together they are catching up and laughing endlessly.

Brian is survived by his parents, Michael Wayne Buckler, Sr. and Joyce Gail Buckler of Charlotte Hall, MD; his nephew, Michael Wayne Buckler, III and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Wayne Buckler, Jr.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a Life Celebration Memorial Gathering at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622 with Friends sharing memories at 11:15 a.m. Interment will be private.
