Chance Anthony Johnson, 12 weeks old, of Front Royal, VA passed away in the arms of his father on October 12, 2014.
Chance was born on July 21, 2014 in Front Royal, VA, at Warren Memorial Hospital to Larry Scott Johnson, Jr. and Rikki Lee Hardy.
Chance was a miracle, his gentle presence touched so many loved ones and friends, with his charming smile and without often crying, he was easy to love; from the sucking of his hands to the glow on his face, as he heard his dad whistle to him, being smothered in kisses by his loving mother or to the sound of his sister playing patty cake, he was just so happy, truly a gift taken too soon, the memories he left behind will be cherished forever and always.
He was predeceased by his identical twin brother lost at 20 weeks in utero, Bentley Robert Johnson; and grandmother, Stacey Magruder Roughton.
Chance is survived by his parents, Larry Scott Johnson, Jr. and Rikki Lee Hardy of Front Royal, VA, brother, Damian Johnson; sister, Narissa Johnson; grandparents, Ricky Hardy, Charlotte Rochlinski, Thomas Rochlinski and John Barham; aunts and uncles, Jessie Hardy, K.C. Rees, Erica Magruder, Tina Magruder and Christopher Hardy; and many other relatives.
Family and friends will be received for Chance’s Life Celebration on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
