Donald Eugene Jenkins Jr., 52, of Hughesville died June 11, 2004, at his home. He was a retired Maryland Stae Highway Administration roadworker. He liked playing the lottery, Karachi and western comedies and loved people. Born Feb. 26, 1952, in La Plata, he was the son o fhte late Donald Eugene Jenkins Sr. and Anna Mae Jenkins. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen Marie Jenkins of Hughesville; daughter, Amber Leigh Jenkins; brother, Robert Dale Jenkins and his wife, Catherine; sisters, Kathryn Marie Delepine and her husband, Sidney, and Rita Darlene Jenkins; grandmother, Edna Marie Jenkins; nephews, Dennis Mills and Ryan Jenkins; niece, Sandra King; and other family members. Visitation and service were held June 16 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Waldorf. The Rev. Tom Crowley and the Rev. Eamon Dignan officiated. Burial took place at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Helen. Memorial contributions may be made to Amber Leigh Jenkins Trust Fund, c/o of County First Bank, 29015 Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659.
