Elizabeth Ann Westura, 85 of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away May 17, 2016 at Carriage Hill Health and Rehab, Fredericksburg, VA.
She was born march 27, 1931 in Ambler, PA to the late George and Marion Fisher Richards.
Elizabeth moved back to Virginia in 1990 to Colonial Beach, where she resided until 2006. She continued working as a Registered Nurse with a visiting nurses association in the Northern Neck. In 1993 she joined the original staff when Mary Washington Health Center opened in Colonial Beach. She worked there until she retired in 2006, at the age of 75. The last 10 years were in Fredericksburg, VA where she moved to be with her daughter and son in law. She was entirely dedicated to her career and family, as was her late husband.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Kathleen Waldrep, Patrick Westura, Kristina Westura and 2 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Dr. Edwin Eugene Westura.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery, 23170 Newtowne Neck Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
