89, of Sykesville
Elizabeth Wine Wade, 89, of Sykesville, died Dec.7, 2003, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore. She was born in Denton, Maryland, November 23, 1914 she was the daughter of the late Lida Moore Wine and the late Albert C. Wine. She graduated from Caroline High School in Denton and the from Western Maryland College now McDonald College in 1935. She taught school in the Eastern Shore and later worked in merchandising in Baltimore. Following her marriage to the late Frank B. Wade of Port Tobacco, she became a resident of Charles County. She lived her permanently except for four years during World War II, when she and her son, Frank Jr., resided in Denton while Col, Wade was on overseas duty. After moving to Charles County, she worked for four years for the Charles County Department of Social Services. In December 1987, Mrs. Wade moved to Fairhaven in Sykesville, MD. She is survived by her children, Frank B. Wade, Jr., Elizabeth W. Lionberger and Patti Allen; grandchildren, Michelle Wade Scheuerman, Frank B. Wade, III., Michael Lionberger, Karen Lionberger, Jamie Allen and Jenni Allen; great-grandchildren, Campbell Ann Scheuerman, and Mackenzie Lionberger. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday December 11 at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home.
