Born on November 6, 1921 in Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter of the late James T. and Aleine Dorothy Dishman Robey. Mrs. Robey was a housewife and enjoyed Bingo.
She is survived by a son Randy N. Powers and his wife Sandy of Ridge, MD, two grandchildren, Debra Jean Powers and Shannon Marie Powers both of Ridge, MD, and a brother Wayne N. Robey of Avenue, MD and loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Norris ?Piggy? Powers, a sister, Barbara Ann Collier and a brother, James T. Robey, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be conducted on Thursday, November 20, 2003 at Bethel Cemetery, Wilkes and South Payne Street, Alexandria, VA.
