Frances Anita Gray, 82, of Mechanicsville, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2019. Fran was born on July 30, 1936, in Washington, DC to the late Roy Wilkins and the late Martha Warren. Fran was a Bus Driver for Prince George’s County Public Schools prior to her retirement in 1995. She was an active member of the Northern Senior Center, the 5th District Homemaker’s Club, and the Scarlet Ladies. Fran is survived by her husband, Charles (Chuck) Gray, her sons, Fred Herbert, Jr. and Michael Herbert and daughter, Pam Wright. Also surviving Fran are six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
All services were private. Donations can be made in Fran’s memory to the Northern Senior Center in Charlotte Hall, Maryland.
