James ?Jim? Charlton Flanders, 58, of Macon, GA, died on January 25, 2006

Born in Swainsboro, GA, he was the son of the late Edward Flanders, Sr. and Julia Marie Hunnicutt Flanders of Thomaston, GA. Jim was a loving father and a faithful and loyal friend. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech, lived with family for the past 20 years in the Sotterley area of St. Mary?s County. He had worked with ARINC, Inc. for 17 years as a Senior Engineering Director and had worked for MTC Technologies in Warner Robins as a Principle Engineer. He was a lover of genealogy, because family was very important to him.

He is survived by his children, Rebecca L. Flanders of Maryland, Charlton E. Flanders of Maryland, brother, Harry Flanders, Jr. of Augusta, GA and sister, Harriett Hickman of Culpepper, Virginia, as well as loving aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. on Friday, February 10, 2006. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Bishop William McClean will conduct the service.

Immediately following the Memorial Service, the family would like to invite everyone for a time of remembrance at The Old Breton Inn, Breton Bay, MD.
