James “Jim Boy” L. Jones, 76, of Newburg, MD passed away on January 8, 2009 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parent’s; Frank T. Jones and Alberta L. Jones. 9 Brothers and 3 Sisters. He is survived by his Sons; James L. Jones (Bubba), Thomas W. Jones (Tommy), Arthur E. Jones, Paul V. Jones, and daughter; Jean M. Stephenson (Sissy). 12 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren, with a host of many nieces and nephews. Jim Boy was into playing Horeshoes, playing cards, wild game hunting, fishing, crabbing, oystering, painting, and played Baseball for Hardesty’s Inn. And was also a Bartender at Robertson Crab House. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from 12 pm until 6 pm at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. in La Plata, MD. A Service will be held during that time at 5 pm. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Newburg VFD and Rescue Squad.
