Loker Welch 98 years old of Newburg, MD. Died on November 17, 2008. He is survived by his children E. Etta MacBurney, Shirley Miller, Joseph Welch, Ruth Swann, Charlotte Goldsmith and Catherine Coulby. Sister Helen Pollock and Brother Thomas C. Welch. Also survived by 17 Grandchildren 30 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great- Great-Grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Lillian Welch and his parents Joseph and Ellen Welch. The family will recieve friends at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home on Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charles County.
