Marian Davis Taylor,<br>75, of Welcome<br><br>Marian Davis Taylor, 75, of Welcome died Sept. 13, 2003, at her home. She was a homemaker and for the past four years, since her husband’s death, she has managed Mill Run Farm. She was involved the the past 22 years with the day-to-day operations of Mill Run Farm and Mill Run Stables Inc. In her early years she travled to Europe, Russia, Australia and Alaska. Born June 22, 1928, in Powelville, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Davis and the late Rada Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Taylor. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia A. Taylor, Diane T. Gregoria and Betty Taylor Allen; brothers, Grover Davis, Richard Davis and Allan Davis; sister, Alda Hunter; uncle, Elron Dennis; aunt, Ethel Rayne; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at noon Sept. 17 at Powelville United Methodist Church Powelville. The Rev. Sally Russum will oficiate. Burial will take place at Wango Cemetery, Wango. Memorial contributions may be made to Powelville United Methodist Church, 35606 Mount Herman Road, Powelville, MD 21850. Arrangements are being handled by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata.
