Born December 9, 1953 in Washington, DC to Helen Rosemary Raulerson Carroll and the late Edward Joseph Carroll. He was a Fire Protection Specialist for the Fairfax County Public School and formerly with United Sprinkler. He was an avid fan of NASCAR racing, Dale Earnhart, Sr. and Dale Earnhart, Jr. Mike also enjoyed Washington Redskins football and detailing cars as a hobby.
He is survived by his wife Karen Ann Taylor Carroll; his mother Helen Rosemary Carroll; son Kevin Michael Carroll; daughter Krista Marie Carroll; sister Ann Marie Cain; brothers Eddie Carroll Jr., Bill Carroll and Jimmy Carroll; in-laws Shirley and Karl Taylor; brother-in-law Robert Taylor; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends received on Monday, June 7, 2004 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road Charlotte Hall, Maryland where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 11AM with the Reverend Michael Anderson officiating. Interment Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, Maryland.
